Yes, from what you have seen the title also MS Office 2003, the well-known office suite for Windows, runs on Linux without too many problems with our dear Wine (wine for close friends).

So for all those who can not break away from Office (openoffice.org does not understand why I do not like) I will explain briefly how to proceed.

First thing to make sure you have Wine installed:

• sudo apt-get install wine

Get a CD with the installer of Office 2003, just plugged in and loaded from the terminal dates:

• wine / media / cdromX / OFFICE / SETUPEXE
• (instead of X put the corresponding number of the player)
  

Now wait a while and it will show the usual screen of the installation and activation code, choose the packages you want install and let it continue until installation is complete.

After finishing the installation, you will find the office suite under the menu:

• Applications -> Wine -> Office

Alk instead of username put the name of your home directory, instead of NOMEPROGRAMMA.EXE replace the name of the executable program.
