CD Ubuntu 8.04 Ubuntu 7.04 -> Ubuntu 8.04 Ubuntu

raga Hello everyone how are you?
I know quite a bit that is not updating the blog, but the fact that I am leaving this post.

The title maybe you understand something. It is an exact year, even a year and a week I use GNU / Linux, and Ubuntu to be precise.

Linux I met him at school, was on a PC computer classroom, Mandrake to be precise, but I must tell you, I never liked KDE. Then I tried other distros xò m always happened this KDE because he was a friend of mine passed me the live cd.

Then came the time of ubuntu, a friend of mine gave me the ubuntu live six and something, and from there I began to have some sympathy for GNOME, up to the April 17, 2007, issue of the beautiful days of Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn (I still have it installed on a 15GB HD). From that day it was love at first sight, I installed and started using it full time, and we can say that Linux did not know almost nothing. After only two weeks formattai the windows partition, I did not need more than anything, I was on ubuntu everything I needed, office suites, graphics programs. I was particularly excited about this system, so much so that today I have difficulty to go back to using windows where I can add panels, move the icons, and many other things that I can not do without, let alone can not do without my dear shell that I use for 35% of the time in each session . From 04/17/2007 to 15/04/2008

(yes I did not wait for the day of release, I started using a week before 8:04 and I tell you that even if the system is in beta smoothly as the Kraft slices) nn my pc has never had any problems, no more formatting, slowdowns, and all the various problems you might encounter with windows. I once had to reinstall the system from scratch because I had trouble combined with the xorg X server, oh well I mooooooolto beginner.

After a year of use, now I can say I know more about Linux and open source world, obviously not a teacher I feel it will Linus Torvalds (thanks to the brilliant kernel of his thought) but I can say sapermela get.

Regarding Ubuntu 8.04 will not say much, there are thousands of posts that have talked exhaustively about it, I want to say that maybe it will be on the new 2.6.24 kernel, but applications splash, the system is damn responsive and agile.

Well I told you a little bit of my story, if you like leave a comment or a link to some posts similar to mine where you also have left some consideration use by you of Linux. Ah

the last thing, I installed ubuntu 7.10 compared to 4.7 because I found it very unable, part of my hardware was going to hell, and I do not know what could be due, perhaps it was. Iso of the cd But now it seems that all versions of ubuntu x.04 get along with my pc:
Processor: AMD Athlon64 3200 +
Ram: 2x 512 DDR
Video: AMD / ATI Radeon 9250SE 128MB
Audio: Boh

Well raga I salute you, the next ... Let the

Gentile preparation of TG1 , I would bring to your attention the fact that April 24 will be released the next version of Ubuntu, an operating system GNU / Linux PC secure, stable and free for a long time is getting more and more people to abandon Windows, so much so that Dell, the world's largest computer in the world sells its computers with Ubuntu.

I think it would be in the interest of the media to bring this matter to the attention of your viewers, as the user benefits are many, here's a quick summary:

-and completely free.

-It is totally safe from viruses and cyber attacks.

-is stable: the blue screens of Windows will be just a bad memory. The system is fast with the passage of time instead of slowing down.

-Allows you to use programs and games for Windows.

-It is easy to use so much that has been referred to as "Linux for human beings"

-is readily available as free download at Ubuntu: http://www.ubuntu.com/

-Can be used to bring life into the PC data for finite given the minimum hardware requirements.
Notwithstanding the minimum requirements, is at the forefront of graphics and visual effects (for an example of the difference between Windows Vista and Ubuntu look at this video: http://it.youtube. com / watch? v = xC5uEe5OzNQ).
More than 20,000 software installed in a single click
Linux has more than 30 million users worldwide continues to grow and a very active community in helping new users.
would be very nice for people like me who believes in seeing this reality to break the news of this release on a "TG" as your foreground, hoping for a positive decision will Yours Regards, the Italian Ubuntu community.

Some advice on voting ...

Since it appears unlikely that the ballots are modified and reprinted, should be kept carefully (not just those who vote :-)) but how to vote. The cross must be accurate and should not exceed the box , if it comes out of the board's vote would be invalidated.

Here is the letter that Silvio Berlusconi has used all Roman

Dear friend, dear friend
Italy is a great country, and Rome is the capital, a city of world heritage . We know and we are proud. It 's the next to have forgotten it. Our commitment is to restore dignity to Italy and its capital.

The legacy that we leave the former mayor Walter Veltroni is heavy . The left, despite what they claim to believe, he built a city selfish. It is we who want a united city. Moreover the left has won the strong powers [...]

The numbers of the failure of the left not speak of a "model Rome," but a "disaster Rome " 37 thousand families homeless, more than 50 thousand children out of a total of 75 thousand [...] without kindergartens, only 30 thousand out of 565mila seniors over 65 who can benefit from a service offered by the City of Rome. 9 thousand desperate people forced still live in a state of utter degradation in slums along the banks of the Tiber. [...] [...] More

that "Rome Model" was applied here, "Visco model, that of" tax and spend. " And here too did damage: Rome is the largest city of Italy harass . [...]
The waste tax has affected the budgets of the Roman family soo increments up to 30% [...] But the city is dirty and increasingly degraded .

In Lazio there are three incinerators compared to 13 in Lombardy. Rome has the largest landfill in Europe, Malagrotta : was close two years ago , but continues to accumulate garbage [...]

Dear friends, why Rome can rise again from the economic decay, social and moral are strong proposals and solutions, such as the People of Freedom.

establish infrastructure. [...] The ring rail, new car trade, the underground (A, B, B1, C, D).

build 25 thousand new homes [...] and make new nursery.

will reduce local taxes. We will

will develop the recycling and waste disposal facilities [...]

Dear friends and dear friends,

after twenty years of government, left us without a capital to be redone. Today you can change. For this 13 and April 14 I ask you to make a choice, to vote and to vote for the People of Freedom, the House and Senate;
Gianni Alemanno to the City, Alfredo Antoniozzi the Province and the candidates of the People of Freedom in municipalities.

will be an act of deep love for Rome.

If you allow, on the advice of our dear Silvio, tab, Grey, for the eleventh city hall, Write PETROLI
